Limiting what it does with resources for what I want it to show me means nothing if it's gobbling a ton up just to exist. When I open it, and do absolutely nothing with it, it is already using 10% CPU and ~600 MB RAM. No open tabs. That's insane.
For reference, Chrome being woken from the crypt and presumably checking for updates and trying to sync a million things was using 10% CPU and 200 MB RAM, and that's with the bloated "New Tab" page showing me weather, suggestions, etc. still enabled. GX was just showing me a black, blank tab after I disabled all the "suggested" shit.
