It means means building but I'll break apart the word for you since it's actually kind of 2 words put together.
Tate can mean shield (like in tate no yuusha or shield's hero) but in this case is an adjective to describe a noun as long or tall.
Mono is an ending that basically make something into a noun. So for example nise means fake. You can go nise ringo to mean fake apple. But you could go nisemono and do the equivalent of Sonic calling Shadow a faker.
