The absolute best example from it comes from purely fictional media and I'll give you one example

It is endearing to hear (for instance) Daniel Craig talking about his fears of play a role as serious as James Bond or how nervous he got from accepting the part but it is definitely not relatable or endearing to have him wear a life jacket while IN CHARACTER, as James Bond, specially not in his first media appearance.
Same thing applies here to Shiori. Down the line it wouldn't be a problem if she talked about how she finds (let's say) Shinji from Evangelion cute and how that's her favorite type of anime boy. Lots of Holos might have mentioned something similar.
But doing so on her debut, the one moment that will likely characterize her for a good while, be about "husbandos" is a subversion of expectations (at best) or a signal that the intended audience is some other complete else
