>>27854371>Honestly, maybe it's one of the reasons why the girls aren't that popular? If you shilled them more, maybe more people would check them. I'm not saying to go batshit shizo drone, but at least do more shit like the other company do. Holobros promoted Gura really hard and I don't see anything bad about it.I find that kind of behavior dishonest. I shill Pomu's content to my friends who I think would be interested in it but I'm not gonna make social media accounts just to spam Pomu clips or dump thousands of dollars putting up Pomu billboards on Taiwanese buses.
I don't think my oshi would be happy to know her fans are botting her music instead of listening to it out of earnest enjoyment. Maybe the males don't care, but Pomu wants to be recognized for her talent and not how hard people can bot her videos.
>>27854444The issue with this mentality is it just turns into an arms race of which fanbase has more resources they're willing to dump into shilling. If the new standard became spending 8 hours a day looping music then people will start dumping thousands of dollars on bot phones to loop it multiple times at once. If that becomes the norm then they'll start making websites to willingly infect your PC with malware that spams Twitter to shill your oshi. If everyone is doing that then they'll start expecting eachother to get fulltime jobs to crowdfund a superbowl ad to promote their oshi. It's never ending and it just sucks the soul out of the hobby into behaving like a cult.
Don't blame the girls' fans for behaving like actual fans and not cultists, that business model is unsustainable and harmful to the hobby if everyone were to adopt it.
