Besides "latitudinous overlaps" there are also "longitudinous overlaps".
Latitude overlap: Streaming at the same time stretches viewers between them.
Longitude overlap: Streaming earlier in the day burns out the viewers who don't watch streams later in the day.
Longitude overlaps are more easily seen when a vtuber does 2 streams in a day, the 2nd stream tends to have much lower viewers than normal. But I wager it also exists between vtubers. I'll bet you the big Eurovision thing sapped a lot of viewer's energy who didn't choose to watch vtubers that day, and therefore all the companies were down today.
