While my time with her was always great, the big barrier between huge streamer and insignificant viewer could never make me more than a hopeless gosling.
At some point I started getting into some indies and one girl specifically captured my heart to such an extent I was ignoring my oshi's members stream for one of her regular streams.
Eventually I ended up unfollowing her and blocking her everywhere for my sake and went back to enjoying my original and significantly more emotionally reliable corpo oshi.
Why? Words of advice:
Do NOT go gosling for indies, the closeness and direct contact may be enticing, but no matter what they promise, they WILL end up cucking you and the rest of their fans with some m*le. The highs may be easier to reach when you can just talk to them with ease, but the potential emotional turmoil just isn't worth it.
Idols won't let you down, idols will gladly feed your parasocial desires.
Of course you won't have to worry about any of this if you're a sane person, but wdytwa?
