There are definitely better APEX players in hololive than Suisei, but due to the requirements of the tournament in order for Aqua and Towa to participate, they needed a weaker member to join them and as such Suisei being good friends with the both of them joined.
Plus the dumb shit that would come from having a male with Aqua is not worth any tournament.
