Does anyone else feel this whole Fuwamoco thing kinda crazy? Like, it feels too good to be true. After generations of HoloEN, we had concluded that EN vtubers/idols are simply inferior. But then this seemingly perfect duo appears, with an attitude rivaling even JP, promising the moon and beyond, asking nothing in return, and so far delivering it. Great-tier gaming streams, god-tier karaokes, and making even super chat readings fun to hang around. Schedule is packed to fill the needs of even the most hungry ones. They are not only knowledgeable in Japan/anime culture, but they seem to have figured out the kinks of vtubing as well, doing all the right things and none of the bad things.
Being twins doesn't only add a cute and novel dynamic, but it also makes them feel just about unstoppable. With two they have twice the capacity and they can cover for each others' weaknesses, it feels almost like cheating compared to being an individual talent. Of course, they are also dependent on each other in a way that an individual person isn't, but overall I still see it as such a massive strength.
So, what are some actual risks or downsides? The most immediate risk I can see is them burning out at the current rate, but then again, they've worked tirelessly for 10 years for their dreams, and this is their first big success. Another potential issue could be them not developing as idols in Hololive as much as expected and streams becoming boring over time, but getting bored applies to everything in life, and I can't see myself stop being grateful for them as people for all the love and inspiration they've given us. They've said they feel like living a dream, I feel like living a dream, so is it a dream, or a miracle?
