You see someone and they just connect with you on a fundamental level.
You become a day 1 member and become immune to any and all shitposting against your oshi.
You will never betray them because you have full confidence that they love you and will not betray you.
Sure, sometimes this takes a watching a few streams to trigger, but if you just watch someone for a while and then just actively think the thought "yeah she's fun, I'll member her" then she's not your oshi. She's simply a streamer you like. And if she stops being fun or catering to what you want, you will simply find someone else to watch.
Oshi-ing someone is a process beyond consciousness.
A link formed in a place that we have no idea even exists.
Yet it is there all the same.
It's not something that has active thought behind it, it's far beyond that.
