>>39493648The most recent one? They should have been reprimanded for pulling that stupid stunt. They were literally throwing the company's image under the bus to own a couple of schizos. Instead of normalizing intergender off collabs they made them more awkward for everyone involved. Instead of following the old and true rule of the internet, don't feed the trolls, they gave them fuel for many months to come. By repeatedly baiting them, they gave unicorns and shipschizos the most loudest and obnoxious presence in the community yet by providing a point of grievance for both. Worst of all, with the way it was framed now people are unable to offer critical feedback for these actions without being thrown aside as a schizo themselves. All the while it furthered enabled the shitty mob mentality that chats already have. A community where you can't disagree without being mobbed by others who have more causal, less nuanced opinions is terrible for long term growth and success. It also minimizes the effect of positive feedback if it is all done to virtue signal. All of this happened because they could not stop kicking the hornet nests to "own the bees". Never, have I seen such a disgustingly irresponsible act carried out by someone in this community. While the intentions were good; filter out the worst parts of the community, it did the complete opposite. It enabled them. Why the hell would you enable them? What are you gaining from this? Why should such blatant disrespect of ones carefully constructed community, the work of so many senpais and kohais, be swept under the rug and blamed on unicorns? I cannot in good conscience support someone who would do something like this to their viewers. This off collab arc is a step backwards, through and through.
