It'd be like if Amazon charged you for reading public domain books on your kindl, or if your bank wanted to charge you money for checking your bank account.
If people want to charge you to watch their streams (memberships) Okay. As an intermediary YouTube should recognize that the people make the platform and make a way for the average person to monetize it...then take a part of what people make (as a tax) to fund itself.
YouTube already takes a cut of superchats etc. Quit your damn double/triple/quadruple dipping and leave us alone.
