>>21263780I should probably try to clear this up if you really care that much.
I don't know if close is the word I would use, we haven't chatted a lot after all, nonetheless, the gist of the situation is that he is an amazing person that has helped me a lot, not only regarding nasfaq related things, but with handling recent events and just stuff in general. So, without getting in too much detail, he's someone amazing that I hold very dearly.
Looking back on it, I'm not sure why he did this for me, or if he's like this with everyone, but I'm very thankful for it and it's something I won't forget.>>21343439>>21341872>>21342049>>21342494And while I'm here, you are an asshole, regardless of you being right or wrong you don't approach a discussion this way and expect something to come from it, granted you might be just doing this with no real purpose, if you truly believe that your idea has potential then say why you think so, and when someone tells you "all divs will be the same in a few weeks" reply with why you think that won't be the case, why you think old models are wrong or are overlooking something, don't go "give formal proof" "give a fun over time graph" you are literally putting 0 effort into your oh so brilliant idea, and you are asking for stupid things, let's not even get into the fact that fun is a subjective thing.
With that being said, dividends, disregarding some meta coins, are already on that stagnation point, I'm not sure if
>>21341726 was thinking the same as me with normalized dividends, that doesn't necessarily mean each coin giving $1k divs (current allotted total for the dividend pool is around $65k), but that their ROI% is the same.
Currently, there are 39 coins between 3% and 6%
(using only last dividends, which is pretty dumb, you should always use averages when possible), do these coins pay out the same amount of dividends? Not really but yes really, for example:
>REINE$ pays $448.88 at $10,222 -> 4.39% ROI>KRONII$ pays $807 at $18,748 -> 4.30% ROIDespite having different dividends payouts, these two coins are currently the same as far as dividend investing goes, people won't need to buy AYAMY$ up to 1.8M shares so she has the same dividends as MORI$, her new price will be set thanks to everyone chasing the hottest dividend coin, making their ROI% meet at some point.
Which brings us to our next point, chasing dividends, the way the current system works is that payouts are distributed according to weekly performance, utilizing both subscribers and views, this is why HOLO$ went to $7k divs, holofes boost was huge, your proposal completely disregards this and turns dividends into a completely braindead mechanic, currently everyone holding ID3 is wondering whether to gamble for divs or just sell it all, some can do their reps into channel growth and make more educated guesses, but the idea is the same, however, under your system, anyone can go into the market view, sort by volume top to bottom and start buying if they feel like the price is right, and to quote honk:
>The amount of cash added to your balance for a particular coin is a function of the amount you own and the chuuba's channel performance in the past week. It is independent of the market performance of that coin. Seek high performance coins in order to optimize your weekly payoffsYou are completely undermining the point of being able to recognize a chuuba who is performing better than the previous week or than their peers, you are literally taking away the complexity of the game!
And lastly, while I do not speak for the entire player base, I think dividends are fine currently, most people get a 6% to 7% returns on networth, which, again, to me, feels fine enough to have enough money to zero out on friday while making smart plays that don't fall into mindlessly buying (said plays include inflation buys, dividend optimization, day-trading investment and oshi buying, you can also add auctions and gacha if you are somehow not getting to zero by friday, but you should absolutely be able to do it).
And in general, I don't think screaming time-loop at any discussion is a good thing, it just shows that people care and want to find a solution to a hard problem, but for anyone reading, don't be like this poster and try to approach the discussion in a good way so at least I don't feel like I'm wasting my time on bait, even if you are being fake, it really makes having these kind of discussions better.
Now back to the void I go, but geez, I catch up on a thread after a day to see how you guys are doing and this is what I find?
