There's this thing in perception where the more you dilute a concept less it matters.
Someone commits genocide, you call it a crime against humanity, so crimes against humanity are a very big deal.
But then some guy takes a big shit on some famous art, and someone else calls it a crime against humanity too.
Their goal is to relate the two things so the art vandalism is as bad as genocide.
But this also has the opposite effect, it makes genocide seem less of a big deal.
Now let's say someone tells their viewers they are trash people for not liking her content and it's their problem and they need to get better at life.
This pisses the fans and they call it a yab.
Now let's say someone else tells her fans that unfortunately they are entertainer and audience, not really friends.
And someone calls that a yab.
This is intended to make that statement seem bad, because it should be comparable to the previous statement.
But it also has the side effect of making the first statement seem less bad.
Marine said the same shit years ago and it was received positively. It's a point that comes from reason, from common sense, from truth. It is merely stating a fact and everyone accepted it.
How curious now that the same statement is being treated as a "yab".
If you recall for months Kronii and Ame fans have been subjected to ridicule because their oshis think they are trash and they still watch them.
Let me be a schizo for a moment and bet a lot of the people spreading this "OMG THIS IS SUCH A YAB SISTER" narrative are their fans trying to make Fauna look bad and make their oshis look better too.
They're not the same, sorry.
But Fauna just stated a fact, she said I am not her friend because I am not.
She did not make fun of me for not having female friends, she did not say I need to improve at life, she only said a fact and I fully support it.
Calling this a yab is a pathetic and shameless attempt to make her look bad and drag her down to the same level as the bitches of HoloEN and it only shows how desperate their fans are to have their oshis redeemed.
Maybe your oshis are right you do need to improve yourselves.
