>>48839208There's two ways to look at this.
> There were people that she trusted and told her struggles to. Some understood, and some understood this as her gaslighting or guilting them, when she confided in them. The first would be Shondo, some of her indie friends etc. and the second would be Finana, Elira, Hex, Kotoka etc. possibly most NijiEN were like that to her, since she didn't namedrop any of the livers that were actually supportive to her.
Other stuff -
> It’s true that most of them didn't really know Zaion as a person. But it's not fair that the simple way they knew her is now forcefully replaced by this storm of complicated and strong words that don't actually have "her" in them.Heavily implies that the other Niji livers basically believed and ran with management's narrative over hers when they slandered the shit out of her, hence the "I can't even wish her well" comments from Kotoka, the "gaslighting" shit from Finana and the "uncomfortable" statement from Hex.
The sheer number of debuts and the lack of closeness between new and old members makes it clear that they basically treat each other as coworkers, and so they would be easily willing to throw a black sheep under the bus.
> If there was something I wished to do, or something I thought was worth fighting for, it felt like it wasn’t fought for. All I experienced was the expectation to bow your head down and not to question the system.Enna already made it clear that Niji management basically works like a gulag work camp.
If you're in front of superiors, kneel to them, lick their feet, keep your head down, and weather the storm. If they aren't looking at you, feel free to talk all sorts of shit and do whatever the fuck you want.
Zaion stood out by calling out management changing rules as they wanted and for their selective enforcement of the same, as well as their wishy-washyness and lack of support.
You call out the gulag master, and you will simply get taken out the back and shot, like she was.
And naturally if you stand out in a gulag camp none of your fellow camp-mates will defend your ass, they will drop you like hot charcoal because they have a good system going for survival and they don't want to be next in line for the chopping block.
