>>11435149>how do you even clip can you use movie makeryoutube-dl and ffmpeg can do a lot.
Lightworks if you want to do real editing and not just literally clip a segment. It's free, there's tutorials on Youtube. Just think of a thing you want to do, then look for how to do it.
youtube-dl youtube-video-url
--Downloads the whole fuckin vid, probably only bother if you plan on doing extensive clipping/editing from a stream. Otherwise, only download the relevant segment:
youtube-dl -f 135+bestaudio[ext=m4a]/mp4 youtube-video-url
--This merges 480p and whatever the best audio is. If you have bandwidth issues and don't give a fuck about vid quality.
--See below for downloading particular segments of a video.
youtube-dl -g "youtube-video-url"
1st URL is Vid 2nd URL is Audio.
ffmpeg -ss 00:00:15.00 -i "1st-URL" -ss 00:00:15.00 -i "2nd-URL" -t 1:00 -map 0:v -map 1:a -c:v libx264 -c:a aac output.mp4
--Clip a 1 minute segment starting at the 15 second mark, output .mp4
ffmpeg -ss 00:00:15.00 -i "1st-URL" -ss 00:00:15.00 -i "2nd-URL" -t 1:00.00 -s 720x480 -map 0:v -map 1:a -c:v libx264 -c:a aac output.mp4
--Clip a 1 minute segment starting at the 15 second mark and downscale to 480p, output .mp4
youtube-dl --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 youtube-video-url
-- Just mp3 extraction
Also everything I said is probably wrong. Just Google shit, my dude.
