>>3624080When people say advice like this, I wish they included the disclaimer that this process is gradual, takes decades of effort, and that some degree of "autistic" devotion to your interests is valuable if not necessary. PUAs like to think you can just start going to bars alone and come out a chad in a few months, but that's just not the world we live in, and when people try these things with expectations like that it often just makes them bitter and defeatist when it doesn't work that way at all. To get good at martial arts requires getting your ass kicked regularly for years and life in general is no different.
