Alright, so I've been giving the discussion we had the other day some thought and this is what I've arrived at
>The problem
As stated the other day, divs is the best and easiest playstyle, day trading might net more profit somehow, but it's tedious as fuck, and it's a very low profit
>The problem 2
day trading is cancer because you can only buy/sell 144 coins without hurting said profit
>Moving your assets and tax
So currently we do have a way to move more than 144 coins a day, the problem is that the taxes are waaay to fucking harsh, I think that you could remove taxes for multicoin SELLING and ONLY SELLING, without too much trouble, why? You might ask, well, selling is different from buying, normally when you sell you want to immediately buy back to profit from divs, the thing is that being limited to only selling 144 coins means jack shit for anyone moving around assets and capital, let people sell more without a drawback, if you consider that selling 288 Towa at $14k is better than holding her until divs (where she'd stabilize at $10k for example) then let the guy do it.
The problem with 144 selling (and buying back later) is that it's haunted by the divs lifestyle, they are so good that you WANT to buy back because the profit you made selling is very small, removing this limitation allows for riskier plays and for another type of playstyle to be born, you could have people who keep their divvy playstyle and people who take the riskier approach selling and moving a high amount of coins
>Why not doing for buys too?
The problem with killing taxes both ways is that it just becomes divs + this playstyle, you would just sell a lot buy a lot and go back to divs, I do think that maybe making it scale a bit lower could be a good idea (but that needs to be reviewed thoroughly)
>Example
Let's look at Moricoin, let's say she jumps 30% (from her current $12800 to $16800) and that you have 1000 of them, with the old system, let's say you sold 100 coins, taking $14k as the average price through the day you get a total of $1.400.000+ $2.217.040 (divs from 856 coins at $2590), meanwhile, not selling would give you $2.590.000, do the math and basically you gained $1.000.000, take away the 5% because you are going to re-invest that into divvies and you get $950.000, and sure, money is money, but that isn't going to help you climb ranks, $950.000 is fucking nothing looking at the leaderboard.
Now let's say there was no multicoin fee, you could go wild, do x3 and sell 300 (100), now you get $4.200.000, take away 5% and that's $3.990.00, you've made more than divs! and if you invest that wisely you've most certainly have surpassed the returns anyone who didn't sell would have gotten!
>Isn't this just the same but just selling more?
Now, while on paper it might look like that you need to consider that you can't just skip numbers like you did with divs and generate money passively, you would need to look at what return % the current coins are and if it's worth it to buy in or not, with just one coin it might not seem like much, but make that 10 coins and now you are talking about moving $30M or $40M a day + allows you to have a much higher control on shifting your assets around, hell you might not even be able to spend it all before divs day!
>Going back to multicoin (Buying)
This huge influx of money also means that you can now look at the multicoin and consider it an actual viable option instead of just suicide for retarded oshicoiners or a weapon for oshiwars, see a moon ahead, sell big, buy with taxes, and get huge returns that trump said taxes! I still think that lowering this might be good too but you need really look at that carefully to not fuck anything up, after all these two parts (no tax on sell and tax on buy) complement and limit each other quite nicely.
What I really like about this is the risk and reward that comes with it, if you want you can ignore this with no repercussions and keep on climbing through divs, or you could do some risky plays, that if they work, will launch you higher up or help you close the gap, but you also can get bogged if you make a wrong call.
And that's pretty much it, would love to hear your thought on the matter and whatever, also sorry in advance for the wall of text.
>attempt at TL:DR
>Divs too strong, daytrading shit timeloop
>Here's why killing multicoin selling taxes (ONLY SELLING) fixes day trading
>you get more money that offsets the loss from divs
>you are encouraged to make riskier plays
>the influx of money can make multicoin buying viable
>it doesn't force you to play this way, you can stick to divs life like usual (aka playing it safe)
and I think that's pretty much the spirit, if you could read it all I'd be a happy lad because I'm shit at doing summaries.
