You DO NOT fuck around when it comes to potential swatting. vShoujo knew people were getting scammed using their name/likeness since March because they didn't do the normal business thing of securing all major websites with their name (.org, .net, etc).
And despite this, they didn't release any sort of message at all warning people. It didn't need to be some breakdown or anything. Just a "Hey everyone, heads up. People are impersonating us. Please know that our website is this location, and any communication from us will only come from this email address".
Because they couldn't even do the bare minimum corporate due diligence, everything ends up being their fault.
