Now that dislikes are permanently private, 3rd parties literally have no way of accurately knowing the dislike amount.
Therefore they need to guess based on the amount of likes.
So like how we can guess that there's 2000 people ITT right now, but only ~100 CHOOSE to post, the extension GUSSES that say,
>2 million people watch a video>Only 200k of those people will leave a like>Based on usual trends, this means at least (just guessing) 10k people disliked the video.That's how it works.
But then you have (rare) situations where the dislikes are more than the likes, and on that I don't know how they figure that out.
