The short of it is that she learned to speak wrong (from the head/upper throat) and sing right (from the stomach), and it's far too late at her age to change that behaviour. She can make herself speak "right", high and deep, and sometimes does so for comedic effect on stream, but it takes constant conscious effort so it's not maintainable.
For the record, I fucking love her stupid nasal voice. She's almost incapable of making a sound I don't enjoy, really. She rarely laughs with all her heart, but when she does, it makes mine skip.
