Despite how cancer they are, I don't think it's perms, Fauna was the few that would compromise the games she played (only less than Shiori who plays the most literally who games imaginable). The issue could be with certain projects being canned, maybe not Selen-level where tourneys are getting halted the day of, but there's probably some mentality that can be fairly restricting for wanting to branch out their usual content.
This is a rrat, and I don't mean it as a way to shit on her, but I think Suisei is unironically the cause. Cover does not want them to go to far out from their image, which completely works for Hoshimachi 'stop drawing lewds of me' Suisei. Fauna clearly isn't too keen on feeding unicorns knowing she tried to distance herself from them, but maybe certain elements of the block would stop her from doing things like a full on goth outfit.
As bad as this is, it's not the worse we've seen. They have yet to terminate her, throw her under the bus and poison the well against her, double down when she reveals she tried killing herself, and then have her peers join in on the well poisoning, torpedoing your reputation and killing your English branch. Right now we're in the 'something's definitely rotten in the fridge' phase, they need to clean up or it'll end up spreading. Probably tell Suisei to suck it up, or just not force her preferences on everyone else.
