>>50304696Yeah, life can be rough, bud. I’ve been there before, the feeling like nothing’s hitting, or worth it, and being unsure what you could do to feel better so you can go back to doing the things you need/want to do. Ain’t gonna pretend there’s a solution for the feeling that works for everyone but there’s a few things you could try that’s helped me out in those situations before, like last last week for me when I got into a fight with my mom because she misinterpreted something. She apologized last week when she realized she was wrong but it helped me find peace while I was waiting for her to get back into contact with me.
1. A nature reset: Take a little walk somewhere away from it all, preferably while avoiding tech for a bit, and preferably in the sun but not necessarily. Bring something like a book, MAYBE music, and take a walk. Spend at least 20-30 minutes without using the screen, both the phone or the computer. This gives you some time to reflect without distractions, by being alone with your thoughts to think things through. Like what you want to do, process any bottled up feelings, etc. Then spend the rest of the time reading or listening to music before you get back to things.
2. Find some busywork you can do that will give you the time to think like above, chores, or cooking for your self are my go-to, along side the gym.
3. Sit down and write out your demons, your goals and dreams, and give yourself time to process them. Write down the positive things you’ve done/have been doing too, because we often forget to appreciate ourselves when we do good things, and criticize ourselves only for our mistakes. Listen to wordless music while you do this.
4. Take something to help you sleep like chamomile tea, or eat Turkey, or ZZQuil/Melatonin and start the day up working on the smaller things you can confront like the busywork, then spend the time after doing things you enjoy.
Might not work, but give one of them a shot, maybe and see if it helps. Good luck, bud! Hope you’ll feel better soon.
