The way the Dragon engine combat works makes guards completely block normal hits which in turn fully stop your light attack combo, but they let you break into a heavy attack regardless of style. Though I don't know if difficulty affects how much enemies will block, I only ever played on Hard and then Legend. If koyoyoyoyoyoyo doesn't start using heavy attacks, she'll suffer soon enough when Keihin gang goons get more autistic as well as the gang bosses.
I just don't want her to have her experience spoiled thanks to how dogshit guards are in Dragon engine.
