I swear to god Cover management you aren't even the first who failed. We had Machinima, Thatguywiththeglasses and Roosterteeth try to throw a bunch of people out there for a group environment where entertainers team up to get eyes on them.
They're all gone now, and you're doing the same thing they did. One talent here. One talent there.
I see all of these talent agencies falling here now. Project Kawaii, Tsunderia, Prism Project etc.
People show up for the talents. I click on your videos because I like Kiara, Mori, Gigi Biboo etc. I liked Fauna. All you have to do is not go bankrupt and hold a loose leash, but no it never turns out that way. Not once. Yet.
I get it. Cover is a tech company first. They're trying 3D anime models because...Japan. They want people to be in Japan so they can test their tech...for the tech company.
There is a finite amount of people that will do this, and an even more finite amount of people that will travel (for any reason) to a foreign country for their job. That's reasonable.
I've worked at my same job for over a decade. Most of the time it's people asking me what to do even though I'm not the head boss and I'm given that loose leash. It's fine. I'd pull on that lasso real quick if it got tight and I'm a strong son of a gun. As your talents get more years under their belt they're gonna be lifting cars and buildings for fun.
"Hurr durr foreign gaijin doesn't know what he's talking about."
Whatever makes you feel better, blue dorito. I'm here for the talents I like, not you.
