Koreans bantz a lot more than americans ever will, the problem is that it is way more complicated than western bantzing.
Social heirarchy is a real thing in korea, such as respecting your seniors or not fucking with those who are obviously the social apex of the group.
What happens is that if lower ladder people decides to bantz with higher ladder, it is considered a very rude behaviour and you will be considered a huge prick.
Bantzing also happens within those in the same heirarchy, and this is much more common than in the west. They spend their day ""bantzing"" with each other until someone cracks. But it is not in the korean social culture to apologize when they cross the line, they get into a defensive stance where they think that it is the loser's fault for cracking in the first place. This is generally considered "not reading the room" and will also label the loser as a huge prick.
Essentially, Korean social climate is specifically designed to weed out anybody who is unable to bantz or "take a joke", weeding out those who are not socially savvy.
If Mori ever tried to make friends in Korea while acting like she was at the collab stream, she would be immediately hazed for the socially anxious autist that she is.
