>>74846904Fine. Listen good, cuz I'm only gonna say this once.
You can make a thread, and it'll "work", ni the strictest sense of the word.
What you don't get is the true essence of /pcg/, the divine ordainment. Exceptionalism. What made us truly great. From the very beginning, there was never a single doubt in my mind that we would reach the very heights of /vt/ and what it meant to truly be a general - a family - because we had the spark. It didn't matter what happened, the quarrels, the arcs, whatever, the fact that we were /pcg/ meant that we would make it through, and it was the bonds we forged through those hardships that were the proof of it all.
So yes, you obviously could make a thread and have it "work", literally anyone can. /ybc/ has like 1 post a day. But could you remake what we had?
You've eked out an existence here, and I too know what it's like to lose faith. To settle. I lurked for a while, a long while. Archive reps are kind of my thing, and I also kind of wanted to stay here till I could jump ship entirely, but I couldn't. I thought it wasn't initially, but at the end of the day it's really just not the same, this thread is exactly what I feared it would become. Not that it's bad, or that there's anything wrong with it, but...
>>74847004>as a capip you should know what I meanIf you're asking me if I know what it's like to be the lightning rod of every meanspirited argument, catalogfag invasion and mutiny /vt/ can throw then yes, I do actually! Anything you've heard a hundred times, I've probably heard a thousand. But at the end of the day, it was always okay because the bad wasn't what mattered. You took it on the chin and barreled on each time because you knew there was something greater at stake, and we - at the end of the day - had each others' backs.
So while I never personally called it an anti thread or any bullshit like that (I had begun to understand your feelings by this poit), I thought it quite obvious that the others did because, after EVERYTHING, they couldn't fathom a scenario where you would throw it all away without being lured by a 3rd party bad actor.
>they called it an antipostIDIOT!
You were arguably the most active posters at the time, if they truly thought ill of you, or lowly of you, they'd have told you to fuck off but they did everything to tell you the opposite!
Airi is singing really sad songs in karaoke as I type this, I hope it didn't come out super dramatic kek
>>74847428I can't change your mind, but you take the good with the bad
