>>13208208>fucked up and built it verticallyDoesn't sound like a fuck up at all brother, sounds like you're doing it right. Last time I played was actually Jab#2 taking me out of service, I think Jab#3 warrants making sure the engine updates didn't break any mods I was using and jumping back in. I'll show you my obnoxious WIP alternate recipe fuel power plant + oil refinery + ode to "fuck Saudi Arabia".>hazmat suit>he went nuclearoh no no no baby what is you doin? I hope you've built a beeg ouroboros of high speed conveyors + storage containers conveniently hidden in T̴̢̝͓̱̝͇̱̩̩͓̠̦̭͎̽̀͑͌̀͌͂̋͛̾͆̽̍̾̒̕͜ͅḢ̶̡̧̦̠͖̮̜͍̖͔̻͍̄́̊͒̀̔́̐͑͜E̸̛͚̰̝͙̙̬̞͚̗̜̳̔̒̈́̃̇͐̈́͝͠ ̷̨̗̭̣̠̱̞̘̥̩͎̈́ͅV̸̡̡͚̫̟͈͓̻̺̮̗͓̮͌̉͌̑͒́͝Ǫ̵̙͚̻̹̻̟͕̠̩̟͆̀̔̒̍͗̆̾͑̃͝I̴̜̖͉̓̀̽̏̉͌̽̆̎̄̊̍̾̕Ḑ̸̛̮͓̜̪̋͒͒̆̇̈́͗͊̉̕̕͝ͅ beneath the map. or captured enough doggos to use them as nuclear waste storage containers...oil + alternate fuel or turbofuel recipes are way more efficient for power and less of a pain in the ass. Much more of a pain to build, but satisfying as hell when finished.>>13208365>pass time and potentially destroy my sleep scheduleSatisfactory is perfect for this. Oh, what's that?
>I haven't moved for 8 hours?
But my affront to practicality isn't finished yet!
>I need more concrete for the tribute to excess I'm building?
We need to go deeper - compartmentalize and build concrete/limestone refineries ON SITE wherever I need that shit.
>I can use "more efficient" things like trucks, trains, drones, etc.
Fuck you, conveyor spaghetti EVERYWHEREIt's stupid fun.
>>13208607>liquids are fucking magic. There are "rules", albeit stupid ones, that the game "obeys" when it comes to fluids. It also doesn't behave "realistically" so don't try and think logically about fluid dynamics or even basic physics. It's been months, but there were some dumb ways it handled splitters and valves that didn't make any sense on the surface that you could abuse to "prioritize" certain things over others.
Once you know the math behind it, it's easy enough to deal with. 5-10 minutes of napkin math before you build something like a giant oil refinery will save you a few hours of headache later as things are eventually starved for oil or water, overflowing with byproducts, or both.
Use the "AWESOME Sink" or whatever it's called plus a "Smart Splitter" to direct any solid byproduct overflow into T̵̛̖̣͎́̌H̵͙̥̼͋ͭ́ͬͤͮȨ̶̶̨̛̗͚̪̳ͨ̉͞͠ ̴̛̠̦͍̙͡ͅV̷̼͒ͣ̒͌͆͆͢Ő̸̖̘̏̓̈́̆̕Ḯ̷̴̷͍̪͍̪̳̰͠͞D̸̢̗̙ͤ͑ͯ̍̋͡͡ and get tickets.
If you want to take it further than napkin math, something like SCIM - https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ - will even use alternate recipes and tell you how to best do something.>>13208977>watch towers are cheap as shitYou haven't played Satisfactory until you've built floating platforms jutting out of the sides of cliffs, stacked watch towers on there, deleted the platforms, stacked watch towers on THOSE watch towers, and essentially used a fraction of a small factory's worth of building materials to climb something ridiculous like 1 km. All while disassembling that shit as you climb up.was hoping someone in EN2 would be enough of a sperglord to play it, but alas, minecraft is all we'll ever get...
