>>4945484Funniest part of this is that there are some hundreds, maybe thousands of indies with unfettered creative liberties doing whatever the hell they want
>pulling 15 viewers a streamand nobody bats an eye to them.
Take Hirasaka Mei, one of the VTubers in Haachama's mixer. She's cute, she's a hard working girl, she got a big break by being invited to that mixer and her subs "exploded".
And yet, nobody gives a fuck, and that's one of the successful indies out there.
Had Haachama started as an indie or became one without the rest of the "tide" lifting the all of the Hologirls botes up she would be this chick today, loved by some 3 of you Haaton (maybe) and working her ass off for 2000 views on her daily hour long VODs, fewer than even Risu or Mel pulls off live.
There is a benefit in being in a company and, in my opinion, it is well worth it giving up some editorial control to reach the type of massive success and audience Haachama reached.
Just
>be an idol some 4 times a year>make a schedule and keep it>avoid doing things that can get you in trouble with the YT bot or with the sponsors that put most of the money paying your wage in good or bad SC yields and be happy.>don't do anything that would reflect bad on your channel or on your workmatesIt's not even that hard, it's like having a regular job with a regular employer for a regular wage like regular people in the regular whole world
>except you're loved by your audience unlike, let's say, a criminal lawyer or the parkimeter guy
