>>23499730>I can't really describe it because I lack the musical knowledge and vocabulary so I'm curious what other hoshiyomis thinkyou just activated my subtle pretentious mode.
the most obvious one and the one that pretty much all first timers notice is that her timbre is just really pleasant and attractive. obviously being a little deep helps too but there's plenty of singers and chuubas who have a deep voice who don't necessarily catch people's ears as easily.
another one is her voice can be very powerful and she capitalizes on it very well too. even her lower tones pack a punch when she needs them to. she normally nails her high sustained notes and her vibrato is so mmm tasty on top of that. i once heard a singer mention the term "screaming in tune" and i think suichan's good at it.
beyond that for me it's that she's really good at her dynamics i.e. adding embelishments that really elevate her singing in a subtle way. little quick runs of her voice, or the way she ends her long notes, her breathiness when she needs to be softer, the way she controls her volume, etc.. they also serve the song well so it doesn't sound like unnecessary noodling or flexing for no reason. this is why whenever there's many covers of a particular song i always tend to gravitate towards suichan's version, she just sounds very polished and pleasant.
except in phony, hers is still my next favorite but i prefer anya's(all this just makes me wish she'd decide to retake singing lessons with a teacher she feels is not wasting her time, i feel like she can reach even higher levels because while i absolutely ADORE her voice i genuinely don't think she's as polished as she could be)
>>23500303>Is the mixing different on Spotify?maybe? could be youtube shenanigans or maybe they had the MV ready earlier than the final mix. if it's the latter then i'm guessing inotac probably decided to polish the song just a bit more for the other platform releases.
