the true end is locked off by a random decision in the first 1/4th of the game (with no indication that is the case, even if you get to the ending), the overmaps of the dungeons are giant mazes that you can only map a 3x3 area of around you and exploring them nets you fucking nothing of value, frequent random encounters, the only thing the game was good at was having a nice aesthetic and hinting at an interesting setting and story.
it started out with an interesting everything then fizzled out until the sunk cost fallacy kept me slogging well past it was fun hoping it'd get good (which was less than a third through the whole game).
