There's no privilege being granted to the males here, because there's no talking or joint VC. It's the same as if they were playing against a group of random people. Chat has the opportunity to do the same whenever the girls play an online pvp game with a room code.
It'd be different if the girls were playing against or interacting with the same males frequently. But IRyS avoids Holostars and limits any forced interactions to brief, polite business talk. As she said herself, management asked her to do this collab. It's not like Kronii, where she literally went out of her way to comment on a picture of a Holostar's underwear.
If management is going to frequently ask her to play against Holostars, then it's a problem. But the backlash from fans for this mixed-gender collab is so great that they must have taken notice, so I'd be surprised if this happened frequently.
