The /hlgg/ threads go much faster than the specific threads, but quality suffers as a result. They're typically a weird mix of /v/, livestream chat, and your average 4chan thread.
/wah/ was one of the first idol specific generals just because the tone of these threads is very different from our own. They like to start flamewars over the smallest things and bait each other all the time.
