>>97985083You should never trust anyone completely from anywhere, not hololive or any other corpo or indie. We have seen time and time again, from everywhere, that women are perfectly willing to throw something good away due to their woman moments. It doesn't make sense, it never does, it just happens and it usually happens when they're experiencing a lot of success or are living very peacefully. The ideal thing to do is to become a very passive viewer and never engage. Watch only what catches your interest and ignore everything else, never become a hardcore fan. Ever. Let the other suckers do that, they provide the money. Keep it free entertainment with very minimal investment and you'll find it easier to move on if something terrible happens again.
Some of you might shit on me for even saying that, but that's the reality of being a viewer in 2025. Not just for vtubers but for any streamer in general, they tend to have breakdowns or get exposed as awful people or some other nonsense, not to mention that berating your audience and expecting them to just take it has become the norm even for fleshie streamers, it's fucking everywhere and their collective streamer narcissism is through the roof. Content creators are all just different flavors of mental illness and sociopathy, you don't need to invest vast amounts of time and money into something that has become so inherently putrid.
