>>71557780I truly believe the world is a better place with them in it, and now I'm glad I directly told them that.
There's been quite a few situations of me just saying what's on my mind and shortly after finding out it's something they actually worried about, it makes me happy to have these reminders to not hold back and share how I feel with them. Within reason, of course.
That natural feeling of self doubt, of "does any of this even make a difference?", that is something I feel like they can no longer deny no matter how hard they may want to. It's too clear to see how much of an impact they've made on so many people's lives.
Even when they downplay their efforts it ends up feeding into it anyway. "We're just being ourselves" / "we're just doing our thing" / "we're just FuwaMoco". Then that's all the more reason to say that yes, it mattered, yes, the world without their words is a sadder place. If them just being themselves makes this big of a difference, then the world needs them.
I'm probably not even making sense, I'm yet to sleep, but holding a bit more so I can wake up closer to the watchalong.
