>>32247590Well!!! Let me break this up in parts!!!!
>I want our own religious beliefs be focused on self improvement, making yourself as best as you can, be it spiritually or physically.Just like what I did in Emberian religion, what kind of self-improvement do you want it to be? One that attempts to leave the materialism of the world behind, one that understands the vices of the world but doesn't believe in a supra-natural transcendence or another one that interprets the world as one with chaos, being mutually dependent of each other?
The Bhagavad Gita puts war in an interesting way, essentially leaving this earthly realm through "righteous" conquest in order to ascend to a higher plane. Like I also said in Emberian Religion, it was believed in ancient times that one of the only things that can "control" a god is through man battling misfortune.
>"O son of Kunti, either you will be killed on the battlefield and attain the heavenly planets, or you will conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. Therefore get up and fight with determination." >I want our own religious beliefs be focused on self improvement, making yourself as best as you can, be it spiritually or physically.Great timing actually!!!! Panon just told me to read up on Zoroasterism and I actually read something related to this!!
>"In ancient times, when it was a labour to light a fire, it was prudent to keep a hearth fire always burning (the live embers could be carried in a pot on migration); and a cult of ever burning fire seems to have been widespread among the Indo Europeans, who saw a divinity in its flames. The Brahmans knew him by the old name of Agni (cognate with Latin 'ignis'), but the Zoroastrians called him Atar. They made a threefold offering also to fire, consisting of clean dry fuel, incense (such as the dried leaves of herbs), and a small portion of animal fat. (It was this third offering which in particular was called the zaothra to fire.) Thus fire, like water, was strengthened by two offerings from the plant world, and one from the animal one."That was maybe a few hundred years BC!!! I still have to do my reps regarding your nation, but having it be nomadic, like the Old Believers in Russia would be pure kino!!! Do you think it could be pagan in a way???
>We would also believe that within each of us there is a current of chaos, which we must take great care not to consume and destroy us. Obtaining control over this chaos would be how a person becomes a better self and grows closer to enlightenment. That's a bit like Hinduism! What I can do depends on what you want honestly!!
