>>3039571It's easy an learn. I already speak bisaya and hiligaynon, so I already share a good chunk of the vocab. The most interesting pattern I noticed Indonesian adjectives become hiligaynon/bisaya verbs and those adjectives get replaced with spanish/chinese/other words.
Kuat = strong(ID)
Akwat = carry(Hiligaynon)
Kaya = rich(ID)
May-kaya = Is (financially) able (TAG), Kaya = able
Dapur = kitchen(ID)
Dapog = (outer/dirty) kitchen (Hiligaynon)
Kucina = Kitchen (FIL), shares words with chinese
