>>68360386fun lucy fact: one of the most popular compositions to come out of the Romantic period was Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition." one of my favorites, it was a ten piece suite written for piano. each movement is based on a different painting and is written to give the feeling of wandering through an art exhibit (with lucy) and stopping at each picture. unfortunately, almost half of the ten original artworks are lost. the final movement, "The Bogatyr Gates" is considered to be Mussorgsky's best work
