IIRC, those mods are also fixing the security issues that Rockstar refuses to fix for some reason, which is why there's so many people playing on RP servers and whatnot without any issues, while vanilla public servers are pretty much unusable.
If they don't... well, you can expect the server to implode in the next 2 hours after launch.
