I never really understood the economy of the fall out series. Caps as a currency makes sense I guess due to their portability and relative rarity, but are those caps inherently valuable or is there some kind of standard that you can exchange them for that gives them value. I mean, you exchange the gold you get at the end of this DLC for caps but which one has greater value to the people of the Mojave?
