>>4833285It's a difficult question to answer, especially if, for example, she decided to go indie once more. No other medium is like this where the person you're invested in crosses the lines between a character and an actual person steaming on the internet. Any other regular streamer could leave and come back, rebrand their channel, but it's still going to be them. While I feel no matter how you sugar coat it, Vtubers are not quite like that. They are obviously normal people under the makeup, but the character and design IS part of their personality and is also an attraction in its own right.
While it would still be the same person underneath, she would no longer hold the same name, she wouldn't appear the same and she wouldn't play off the same lore and detective/time travelling gimmicks as she did as Ame. I would be surprised to hear anyone say that doesn't drastically change things. I'd certainly give her a shot though.
