Look, everyone knows there are rabid seaniggers with nothing better to do than shitpost. They work in 12 hour shifts in call centers because that's the only work they can find in their miserable garbage infested hellhole. They are the same ones who spam the catalog with bait threads, crosslink splits to each other and try to incite wars between /hlg/ and /hlgg/. And yes many of them are posting things like DOUBLE CHINIGAMI right now. (They seem to be really proud of that one).
But don't pretend that it's only them, there are definitely people who dislike Mori, and there are valid reasons to dislike Mori.
>Just don't watch her then!
Yeah but when it's a collab or something it's kind of hard. Personally, I just wish she'd read the air more and go along with the flow. The problem is, Mori is terrible at going along with the flow, especially if the flow is something she doesn't know much about or isn't personally interested in. I'll give a few examples in no particular order.
Mori is uncomfortable with anything suggestive, a good example was during the Jump King "tournament" when Fauna was doing a wheel of punishment. Every time Fauna tried doing ASMR or something slightly lewd, Mori would interrupt with her big loud voice and try and make a joke out of it. She does this often with this type of content.
During the Mario Kart tournament, when every Holo was giving their all, even Choco, Mori resigned herself to already losing and decided she was going to do her own thing and try and sandbag to get to the loser's bracket, and then try and beat everyone in the loser's bracket. This had multiple benefits to her, it allowed her to feel comfortable in a game she wasn't comfortable in, and also gave her an excuse for playing poorly. (I'm trying to lose!) But it was against the whole spirit of the tournament and again was just Mori trying to do her own thing instead of going along with what was already there.
Lastly, the Holo EN 3D twister collab. Like 2 minutes in, Mori got winded and decided she was going to lie down as an obstacle on the Twister mat. She then spent the rest of the game there, occasionally saying stuff, but the point is, the other girls had to play around her. Rather that go along with what everyone else was doing, she forced everyone else once again to deal with her, so she herself didn't have to deal with something she couldn't/didn't want to do. It's just annoying.
The thing is, she CAN occasionally be good when she relinquishes this need to always be in control or doing her own thing. The best TTRPG stream was the one that wasn't a TTRPG. This pic? The one that's always representative of UNITY and all that good shit? It's the one where the game couldn't come together for various reasons and the girls just had a zatsudan. Mori wasn't the GM, she was another participant in the conversation, and to her credit she didn't mention Shrek and Adam Sandler a bunch of times either. But sadly, these times are rare.
