All of them but Hololive fucked up their growth strategy INCLUDING Ankara.
Hololive got massively lucky because of EN (as you mention) and because they had enough room to grow in their local market due to all of their competitors being absolute mongoloids and dropping the ball (looking at you here, upd8)

Actually, the whole japanese vtuber industry right now arose from the ashes of upd8 miserable demise (plus Brave Group early demise and .LIVE slo-mo demise), had them realized what they were sitting on Hololive would be what 774 Inc is right now.

Actually, I have the theory that their NIjisanji Network (launched in 10 May 2019)
