Holy shit, I just realize Mumei's genius in her pokemon naming sense and how much it just fits her lore. Mumei clearly hates naming things which is why she gives them generic names. For example, her name which just means Anonymous Anonymous. She doesn't bother with what to name herself anymore so she just gives it the default name. Same with Animal, Friend, and whatever shit she chooses to name. As for the pokemon, she simply defaults to everyone's given names, which is just so in character for her instead of giving them nicknames like the others. What the fuck Mumei, 10/10 yet again.
