>>12813953I remember when it was Youtube: Broadcast yourself. Now look at it, ads, censorship, music companies having their say, DMCA, trying to control communities into something ad friendly. People were spat on for accepting sponsors, they were sell outs. Now? The comments section is almost happy for them because they "made it" Someone told me that Tik Tok felt like a somewhat neutered version of old Youtube, as the content is weird and controversial, it's mostly garbage but you'll find something good in it. At this point I am slowly beginning to agree with them.
Not to say that Hololive should get into Tik Tok, they're doing just fine on YT as is. I just miss the old days...
