>>72943090I want to have hope that the branch can recover, but they pretty much lost everyone who made NijiEN special or generated kino moments. Like not to say Pomu and Selen did everything and no one else matters, but listening to how Matara and Mint talked about their time in Niji, it's clear the rest of the branch are basically all complete introverts who never organize anything and have to be dragged kicking and screaming by management to make shit happen. And seeing how awful management has been since 2022 onwards, I don't have faith in them organizing good events.
My hope is someone like Doppio or Kotoka step up and try to take the lead more in organizing events, but the most likely outcome is they just stop doing anything special unless it's to shill merch/sponsorships. There's no more Minecraft server, the Terraria and Zomboid servers died in like a week, any time someone tries to organize a tournament no one takes it seriously and it feels totally half-assed, etc. The livers need to seriously put more effort into their careers if they want things to recover. Being satisfied with keeping their heads down and avoiding drama isn't gonna be enough, because Niji's reputation is so bad right now that they desperately need to rebound in some way.
