>>1201340>Idea I thought of when looking at this artShe ran.
All she could do was run.
Korone was running at full speed with the hand of her friend Okayu on her own, practically dragging her through the abandoned city. Hers and Okayus torn up patient gowns did little to stop the ear-piercing wind and the rain.
In spite of this, she had a face of fierce determination while Okayu had a more neutral but pained expression. Korone and Okayu splashed through the mud as fast as they could, worried that the lab guards would catch up to them.
She would not return to that place ever again.
That place that hurt her and her best friend.
Where they were expected to be just more folly in those experiments.
As memories of that accursed place filled her mind, she only felt even more determined to escape. She tightened her grip and yelled out to her best friend:
“I won't let them take us back Okayu… no matter what, we're in this together!” she yelled with a small grin on her face. The specter of a smile that graced Okayu’s face almost made Korone stop in her tracks.
“Yeah… I think I like that…” quietly responded the cat girl. The two giggled as they continued to run towards their freedom, not looking back for a second.
