She spoke about her main influences in Japan who gave her advice on performing on-stage, and how they advised her on NEVER giving 100% of your energy to your performance, equating it to Eminem during his stage shows, where he's never going all out and performing each song he's ever sung with full energy due to long concert tours. It seemed she was adopting that mentality with her "live" performances with YT Music Weekends and various performances of her own music during online concerts and karaokes. Although it gave the events a more Authentic feel, it also felt she wasn't that enthusiastic about these performances either, and it felt off to me, even if the rest of her singing was very good.
However, ever since 3rd Fes, we've seen Mori come to understand what an Idol concert is all about, and how each girl is committed to giving 100% of their energy on stage, never knowing when their next time to shine will be. With this SoloLive, we saw her legitimately pour her Everything into that set list: That energy was downright infectious, and pumped up the crowd, while directly into her strengths and making it a uniquely "Mori" experience. With her getting more comfortable in 3D and now with some better modeling, I truly can't wait to see what she has in store, and hope she continues down this path!
TL;DR: I'm glad she dropped that "don't ever give 100% effort" advice she had earlier in her career for the SoloLive, and I'm really proud of how far she's come.
