Unless Doki goes mask off and starts spouting Nazi propaganda, Elira is bound to suffer in the short term no matter what she does. Apologize or ignore it, promise to do better or don't, I don't think any of it matters much. What people want is for artists, other preferably non niji affiliated chuubas and other industry people to start speaking highly of her. That's the action people want to see. Proof she isn't a bitch to deal with anymore.
