Though, for reference, maybe the SillyTavern update instructions could tell you about that, it only updates what was changed in terms of the main repository and it leaves the more breakable things intact, so it SHOULD leave the config.js alone unless it was recently tinkered with by the dev. That's just a personal theory though so take it with a grain of salt.
