Every time she talks about anime it's always about shipping, not the story, themes, humor, characters, visuals, music. No, shipping. Like, mushoku tensei, what made me make this post - interesting fantasy world, charismatic characters, themes of changing and being better, stellar character development, nonono, none of this shit matters. MC ends up with 3 girls instead of one and this is what ruins the story for her.
Getting to halu territory here, but thinking about this kinda sours my mood, because I could've never had a meaningful discussion with her about any anime. What I care about and who she cares about are completely separate things.
